Ferme d'Ithe

AboutsettlementPeriod30 BC – AD 2026

In the modern Jouars-Pontchartrain commune of the Yvelines department in France, a ruined medieval farmstead (the Cistercian Ferme d'Ithe, established in the 12th century and occupied until the 20th) sits atop part of the site of a Gallo-Roman vicus identified by crop marks and rescue excavations in the 20th century. A "Divodurum" mentioned in the Antonine Itinerary may refer to this settlement.
